Therapy
Therapy for the Woman Everyone Depends On
You can be highly capable and still need support.

Capable and still in need of support
You can be successful and anxious. Dependable and depleted. Deeply grateful and overwhelmed. Strong and tired of always having to be strong.
Therapy here is not built around the assumption that something is wrong with you for struggling inside a demanding life. It begins with an assessment of what is actually happening — clinically, physically, relationally, spiritually — and proceeds from there.
High performance is not the problem. Living without adequate restoration may be.
Areas of Clinical Focus
Established clinical practice, not general wellness content.
Each area below is a distinct clinical concern with its own assessment and treatment considerations.
Not every high-performing woman is burned out or anxious, and nothing on this site is a diagnosis. What belongs in therapy — and what belongs in coaching, education, or elsewhere — is determined through assessment, together.
The whole-person approach
Assessment considers sleep, health, hormonal and life-stage change, relationships, work, caregiving load, and spiritual life alongside clinical symptoms — because those domains are not separate lives.
Faith-integrated care is available for clients who want it. It is offered by invitation, guided by your preferences, and never a condition of care. Clinical need, client autonomy, and professional standards come first.
Where therapy can be provided
Shannon White, LCSW-S, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Supervisor, currently licensed in Texas and New Jersey. Virtual therapy is currently available to eligible clients physically located in Texas or New Jersey at the time of service.
Eligibility for therapy is determined by your physical location at the time of each session and by the professional regulations that apply there — not by where you hold residency or citizenship.
